Schoolhouse Falls is located in the beautiful Panthertown Valley, NC which a neighbor to the better known Cashiers, NC. Schoolhouse Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in the area mostly because it has easy access, it is pet and kid friendly, and it is one of the amazing must see sights in Panthertown Valley, NC. The hike to Schoolhouse Falls is moderate it does have some steep hills but they are reasonable, it is not stroller friendly. The hike is about 30 minutes one way which is just long enough for a fun hike. When you get to the waterfall you can take a dip in the ice cold water or you could bring your pole and fly fish and catch some gorgeous trout. While you are in Panthertown Valley there are many more waterfalls so you could pack a lunch and spend the day in the beautiful Panthertown Valley.
